Wird Wein länger in der Dekantierkaraffe aufbewahrt als dies zur optimalen Entfaltung des Bouquets erforderlich ist, so sollte der Dekantier-Vorgang abgebrochen werden. Dies erfolgt durch Verschluß der Karaffe mit einem Glas-Stopfen. Zudem kann im Dekanter-Top der Korken attraktiv präsentiert werden.

If wine is kept in the decanting carafe for a longer time than would be necessary to develop its optimum bouquet, the decanting procedure should be stopped. This is done by closing the carafe with a decanter stopper. The decanter top also can be used for presenting the corc in an attractive way.
